Book bloggers from all around create lists based on the chosen topics, and post links to the host blog to share our love of books. This week’s topic is one I’ve been thinking about for a very long time. I’ve read a lot of books that give a nod to the classics, and I’ve always wanted to highlight these in some way. Introduction to pre-modern Greek book culture and the study of Greek literary scripts from classical antiquity to the Renaissance. Students become acquainted with the history of books, the context and agents of their production, and the transmission of Greek (classical as well as post-classical) literature.

"Classics" are usually novels that achieve both Critical acclaim and popularity. Likely candidates can be found in prizewinning novels that were also bestsellers: Life of Pi, Wolf Hall, The Color Purple, The Road, Middlesex. This book contains textual contents (some modern, some written 1, years ago), a glossary, and an index. Its main purpose is to allow the reader to broaden their understanding of the Yoga Sutras and how they are related to modern yoga practices.

Our latest prize book is ASK AGAIN, YES by Mary Beth Keane, an extraordinary novel that is now available in Bets On pick is a gorgeous and generous portrait of the daily intimacies of marriage and the power of forgiveness, as two families try to stay afloat amid a resounding tragedy. The deadline for your entries is Wednesday, June 3rd at noon ET.   Penguin Modern Classics have been shaping the reading habits of generations since This 50th anniversary catalogue offers a complete list of all the titles in print across the Modern Classics list, from Chinua Achebe to Stefan Zweig via George Orwell and everything else in between/5(52).
